WILTSHIRE COUNTY BADMINTON ASSOCIATION Juniors
As a result of recent restructuring the positions below are now available
Team Managers – we are recruiting Team Managers to run the under 14, under 16 and under 18 squads. These are voluntary positions and would include :-
Liaising with parents and coaches
Attending home and away matches
Organising transport where necessary
Supporting and encouraging the squad
Recording and uploading all competition results
Collecting match coaching fees
Ideally candidates would have experience of competition and league play, have access to emailing and be prepared have their CRB/DBS status reviewed.
This might be an opportunity for those who may have retired from competitive badminton to help contribute towards the next generation achieve their full potential.
Fixtures Manager – this voluntary position is focussed on the development and planning of the season’s fixtures and includes :-
Liaising with their opposite number in other counties
Liaising with Team Managers
Setting up and maintaining the competitions and training schedules.
Liaising with the various competition organisers in the county
This is a key position that might suit a candidate who is used to developing and junior badminton activities.
Coaches – we are endeavouring to find players, ex-players and retired players ( or teachers ) who may be interested in beginning their journey along the coaching pathway.
We are looking for coaches who are available to support schools within the working day, both in curriculum time and with after school clubs.
Suitable candidates should be prepared to have their CRB/DBS status reviewed.
This is an opportunity to resource and offer juniors the opportunity to begin their badminton careers.
