The first team suffered their second heavy defeat to Worcestershire this time at home on Sunday by 10 matches to 5. The score was 2-2 after the singles with straight set wins for Sam Barber and Alice Walters in the 2 second singles matches. Simon Woodhouse lost in 2 sets while Lisa Turner lost in 3 sets.
The mens doubles was shared with both the Wiltshire pairs, Justin Andrews / Steve Hulbert and Gary Davies / Simon Woodhouse beating the 2nd pair in straight sets but losing to the 1st pair. The ladies doubles was won 3-1 by the visitors with Wiltshire’s only success being when Julie Russell / Lisa Turner beat the 2nd pair. They lost 23-21 in the deciding set against the 1st pair, and Heather McCune / Alice Walters lost both of their matches.
